Small sculpture and drawings and paintings for sale

Up the Duff 1 – 13

Ideas for this series come from architecture – everything from Pigeon Cots or Termite mounds to Buddhist temples, things seldom seen in our everyday lives. Also from my travels in the Middle East and the area of London where I live and work.

For the original large sculptures – one over 3m high – I used a mass produced material called Celotex, normally used for insulation also raw pigment as a coating. I aim to create a dialogue between the everyday industrial material and the hand crafted objects. Some of the small versions have been cast in bronze, which is incredibly durable and easily portable. Others have been made in Plaster polymer also durable for out of doors, or plywood and pigment.
